Day by Day Itinerary
Arrive at Seronera Airstrip around 11:00 a.m., where you’ll be warmly welcomed by your safari guide. A picnic lunch will be ready, and your adventure begins right away with a game drive through the Serengeti. Around 1:00 p.m., you'll stop for lunch in the bush, then continue exploring the plains in search of Serengeti’s iconic big cats and grazing herbivores. As the sun sets, you’ll head to your camp, arriving at Serengeti Melia Lodge in time for dinner and a restful overnight stay.
After breakfast at the camp, set off for a full-day game drive in the Serengeti. The landscape here is breathtaking—vast open plains dotted with seasonal wetlands, forests, and savannahs. But above all, the Serengeti is defined by its endless grassy plains. Being surrounded by millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles is truly unforgettable. During their annual migration north, these animals thunder across the plains and brave crocodile-infested rivers, with predators constantly on their trail. Following a picnic lunch in the heart of the Serengeti, your adventure continues into the afternoon. As the day ends, return to camp with the golden light of sunset behind you and unwind by the crackling bushfire. Overnight stay at Serengeti Melia Lodge.
After an early breakfast, you’ll check out and bid farewell to the camp before heading out for one last game drive in the Serengeti. Take in the final sights and sounds of the wilderness as you make your way to Seronera Airstrip for your mid-morning flight back to Zanzibar.
