Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Your journey begins with an early morning pickup from your lodge in Arusha. With packed lunches in hand, you’ll drive to Tarangire National Park, a hidden gem known for its massive elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. The Tarangire River, a lifeline during the dry season, draws a wealth of animals and predators. Keep your eyes peeled for lions on the hunt and leopards perched in the trees.

Day 2: Tarangire to Northern Serengeti

After breakfast, set off toward Northern Serengeti, traversing the changing terrain on a full-day game drive with lunch en route. As you move deeper into the park, you’ll encounter the spectacle of the great migration (seasonal), as well as resident predators maintaining nature’s balance.

Day 3: Full Day in Serengeti National Park

Today is dedicated to exploring Central Serengeti, one of the most wildlife-rich areas in all of Africa. After breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive with lunch in the wild. Expect to see the famous migrating herds of wildebeest and zebra, alongside permanent residents such as lions, cheetahs, and elephants.

Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater, Overnight at Lake Eyasi

After breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the crater for a half-day game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to a dense population of wildlife, including the Big Five and over 500 bird species. After the game drive, continue to Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Cultural Visit at Lake Eyasi, Return to Arusha

Join them on a traditional hunting walk, then proceed to meet the Datoga people, skilled blacksmiths known for their traditional ironworks. After this enriching cultural experience, you’ll return to Arusha by late afternoon, marking the end of your safari.
